Flintoff probably the second worst player to ever play for Imps. Only a bloke nicknamed The Rock stopped him being the worst.

300 peanuts is all he is worth and that's being generous. Enough oxygen on this trivial subject.
Only is a big word Biffboy. Smith won't be there and between the losses are 10 B&Fs, 4 Mail Medals and a heap of leading goal kicking awards. No club can replace that. The mighty blues will be under the pump. The kids may be good but they can never replace experienced smart footballers.
Have to agree FTO that is a lot of class and experience out for the blues this season. Still reckon that they will be right around the mark though. Still some quality players running around and it's a great opportunity for some of these fringe A graders from the last few seasons and the quality crop of juniors to step up and cement a spot. Young lads like Clarry Garlett could perform quite well if provided consistent opportunities. Stevey is well respected and he knows his stuff so I'd still be expecting a new look Imps to be pushing for a double chance. It's shaping up to be a more even competition this year which is a real positive for the league. Let's hope that everyone improves, so each week there is quality contests. In saying that Mannum are the reigning premiers and will take some beating again this year and have to go in as favourites, Mypo have picked up some quality by all reports, Ramblers will be keen to get back to the big dance and a new coach and fresh approach may be just what they need. The real interest will be in seeing if Jervois, Tailem and Meninge can bridge that gap between themselves and the top 4 and challenge for a deep finals run.

Sounds like most clubs have picked up a couple of handy players apart from last years top 3? Rumours that Imps are throwing around a few $$ at this late stage! I've heard Mannum have lost Tonkes but he seemed like a sook from the games I saw last year. Are the rumours about Nick Stevens playing at Tailem true  I think it will be a close season in the RMFL with anyone able to beat anyone on their day.

And when is Nick Stevens going to find the time to play football? If he wants to make a go of this coaching gig at either semi professional or full time professional level then he should be spending every possible moment developing his current club that is paying him large dollars!

Imps recruiting when they don't need too, doesn't sound familiar at all, I guess those lads that should be playing A's and haven't been will be watching from behind the goals again in there little group drinking waters and taking the piss out of A graders when they are still only B graders themselves.

Lokan & Stevens will obviously only be playing a maximum of 5 games!!! Quite simple, tailem need to get 5-6 new players for $300 a game instead of 1-2 players for $1200 a game
