Some comments about him not flattering. Is there baggage that we don't know about.

Not really, just not a very good coach

Tight one up until 3/4 time and then Mannums skill to pull them away for a 32 point win. Tim Sumner controversially named best on ground after kicking 6 in a losing side

Good game of footy I thought. Mannum play a good brand to watch and are a really well drilled side. Been the best team all year so congratulations to them. Thought Imps were a sneaky chance at half time but not to be. No idea why Imps would give away 3 free kicks inside Mannum's 50. Just stupid stuff. Hall impressive.

Massive announcement on the Meningie fc Facebook page with the announcement of Brian Fenton as league coach for 2016.

Fairly predictable by Meningie. James Moore would be a better coach than Fenton. Wouldn't have anything to do with the salary cap haha. Expect a "bench coach" to be named shortly to. A lot of clubs will do this to keep players like Fenton on 300 a game.

I'd imagine an assistant would be named haven't known a playing coach to not have a good assistant. So don't see why this would be any different. Time will tell mm but I know Fenton will have every individual playing for him and will get the best out of them all.

Points are out- Imps 8, Ramblers 9, Mannum & Mypo 10, Meningie 11, Jervois and Tailem 15. I'm a bit bemused that Mypo would get the same as Mannum, surely Mannum are in a better position with previous years results, reserves and an u/17 flag under their belt. Thoughts? Any news on coaches?

Looks about right to me Biffboy. Think Mypo have 11. Would have to be the closest point allocation between the top 5 since points got introduced wouldn't it?.

Coaching news. I've heard Collo back to Blue land, Timmy Richard back to the Bluds, Fenton coaching the Bears, Peachy coaching Tailem and Hall at Mannum. Some quality coaches there apart from Fenton who is an unknown.

Haven't heard if Fidge and Neely have been reappointed?

I believe Fidge will reappointed and have heard a whisper that he has a new assistant so hopefully no more embarrasing crap coming from the bench next year. I'll know more after saturday night and fill you in.

Is it true Imps have lost up to 7 players from the gf side? 3 retiring and 4 leaving is a whisper I heard today
