The way this morning's test match ended was bullshit. Both teams seemed to down their tools too early. It was a very tame end to what had been a great last day's play.

A win for India would of been massive, wins outside India for them are gold. Would of marked the new era of Indian cricket without Tendulkar.

A win for South Africa would of been a world record.

That kind of **** up is beyond excusable in my opinion. Definitely the last thing you need right now...

Thanks mate much appreciated...but alas it gets worse. They instructed us to create a photo DVD compilation of his life, format it, burn it, convert them, put it to music and make the tribute of his life. It took my partner 6 hours and was painstaking and excruciatingly painful to say the least. Upon completion we spoke to the production company who informed us we only needed to drop in 30 photos and notify them of our music choice.

In a time when you don't want or need cluster f@&$s they have managed to screw up the lot. I expect them to drop the coffin on Monday or spell his name wrong in the rememberance cards. Probably a good thing I have SA Footy to vent on.

Home with the tin lids today so I took 'em ten pin bowling.

Spent the better part of two games hurling my ball into the gutters with a skill bordering on the uncanny. Meanwhile my progeny - all of 8 and 6 years old - racked up spare after spare.

Looked over to the next lane to see a ten year old being a right little smart arse. He walked to the end of the lane holding his ball, turned around so his arse faced the pins, spread his legs, bent over and tunneled the ball backwards between his legs.

... and the jammy little bastard took out all ten pins.

I suck at bowling. Reckon I'll stick to the pocket billiards...

Xmas eve and my ****ing eldest was still awake at 11:15 PM ferchrissakes.

Fortunately I saw this coming, and managed to discreetly wrap a good 2/3 of the gifts earlier in the day.

By 11:30 she'd finally dropped off - we got to wrap the remaining gifts, install all the gifts under the tree, give the carrot to the guinea pig and pour out the water, eat the cookies and drink the milk.

12:30 AM and I'm nursing a single malt before retiring.

Bah. Effing Humbug.
