I've don't mind some of it but I've never really been much into Rock, even the stuff that was around when I was a kid or teenager. The last Rock recording I bought was probably Jethro Tull's "Thick as a Brick", although I did around the same time have some interest in an obscure group called "Paladin".

I'm more interested in classical music, jazz, and Indian music - both Indian Indian and South American Indian.

this bloke was a musical sensation when psyb was a little tacker ;)

Never heard of him actually.
Little Richard, Buddy Holly, and Elvis, were big when I started high school in 1957.

On my first day at high school some kid asked me what was my favourite music and I said Tchaikovsky.
He looked totally blank and said, "Watcha think of Elvis?"
I realised he'd never heard of Tchaikovsky, and I played a straight bat and said, "Who's Elvis?"
He walked away looking baffled...

Bought a Fiju Finepix F660 camera at Officeworks in early January. Yesterday it decided it didn't want to work anymore. I have every receipt known to man, but do you think I can find this one?

Ever changing council rules and regulations. We had a spa put in under our veranda about 3 1/2 years ago. It has a solid, lockable lid, the access gates to the backyard have pool gate locks on them, the sliding door to the veranda is self-closing, all as per the regulations applicable at the time. Now, as we prepare to sell the house, the spa needs to be fully fenced! This will not only carve out a huge chunk of the space under the veranda available to be used, but virtually render the blinds that enclose the veranda useless as the fence would need to extend "through" them.
So annoyed at the red tape and bureaucratic interference in every goddam aspect of everything!

p.s. 6 person, 47 jet hydrotherapy spa for sale!!

Yes that is a cunning trick.
When it happened to me, I said, "Then I don't want it, credit it!", and they gave me the discount anyway.

I've since got their rewards card for the convenience of not having to keep track of that, but have ignored their exhortations to sign up to the allied frequent flyers programme, and usually don't bother to activate their emailed discount offers which require you to spend more than you usually do.

(Despite being a Woolworths shareholder I tend to spend more at Coles because they usually have more of the products I want.)
