Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)

Why do you say that Dutchy?

Coming from a very very long way back. And now Ironbank is gone i struggle to see them getting a win unless they’ve signed 5+ decent ones.

More than confident they will win a few games in 2024

I bounced some info I heard last week that Turner from Glenelg is going ...

Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)

May having a crack at Sturt and Athelstone if he doesn’t make it. Works with Mitch Grigg I believe. I’d imagine he will walk in to a rezzies Sturt side with his height and ability to play just about anywhere, then it depends on their list depth if he gets to a league game.

Yeah have heard tripodi ...

Who did they play?Did their new big names play? Lots going on there, be fun to watch how they go.

They played Henley. Not really a shock that one of the D3 favourites smashed them to be fair.

Re: Southern Football League

The Emus were far more competitive than the final score indicates.

Re: Southern Football League

4 wins on the hill today gr8 for the club but wtf with a's?

Give fh the flag now

Talk about a reality check for the May Premiers. Rolled by the Wineflies a couple of weeks ago, then absolutely humiliated on Saturday. The starting back pocket and half back flank combined to kick more goals than ...

Scores flattered Christies at half time, they were bigger and stronger, but nowhere near good enough. Falcons should have won by more in the end.

Re: Southern Football League

Unless Noarlunga has an upset over Reynella, they might miss out on finals. Did they the grandfinal last year?

Yeah, they did, with the comical acquisition of "star" recruit Matt Eagles. No wonder Sauce got the medal for best on

Seem to have a few injuries, Schulz has barely played this year ...

Re: Southern Football League

Sproule red carded against Christies.
Will Porties appeal or take the 2 game ban?

Big sling tackle on one of the smallest blokes on the field in front of the umpire, I doubt itll be worth the appeal

Re: Southern Football League

Who would Port Noarlunga be playing in the first finals, Sproule will miss that if its 2 weeks.

Depending on results this weekend, it will be either Flaggies or Reynella. If they beat Reynella this weekend they'll play them again the following week in the first week of finals. But if Reynella win ...

Re: Southern Football League

A full strength Flagstaff is still the team to beat, IMO.

Really surprised that Christies went down to the Emus on the weekend.

Saints loss came out of no where, mightve got caught looking to the finals early

Lot of young lads in the Saints team at the minute, could be excused for getting a ...

Re: Southern Football League

Credit given when credits due. Morphett vale played out of their skins and used their ground to their advantage well on the weekend. But what could be a blessing in disguise coming up to finals, the young lads know that all 21 need to play at 100% to get the job done as any team can win on the day ...

Port Noarlaunga in trouble? Happy Valley might think they have a shot after the weekend.

That's the GF preview for mine, barring a monumental upset happening in the prelim. Porties looked light years off it.

Re: Southern Football League

Righto, enough kicking teams when they're down.

Anyone give Valleys a chance against the WIneflies this weekend? Was a shellacking by the Flies in round 3, but only a 3 point game last time they met in round 12. Interesting that game was on the bigger deck at Valleys too, should suit them this ...
