Not sure if you guys allow posting stuff after the fact, but it's too good not to share. A young lad at the footy club put a futures multi on which came in on the weekend:
WA Guineas - Arcadia Queen $3.40
Railway stakes - Galaxy star $3.40
Kingston Town steaks - Arcadia Queen $10
Winterbottom ...

Re: Amateur League Looking at taking over Junior Football
Bit different to the old days now isn't it?! I remember playing u/9s at Wingfield when it was freezing and we were given a shot of port out of a hip flask at quarter time to warm us up!!
I don't condone that at all by the way, and agree with Zartan.

Re: Amateur League Looking at taking over Junior Football
At what age group should kids HAVE to train regardless of weather conditions?
Just want a feel of other thoughts.
What ever their conditions they play in.....if the play when it's pissing down they train.
That old cliche LOL. So little Johnny who's 8 years old should train when it's pissing down ...

Re: Player records
Andre Kulpe has played 2 games so far this year taking him to 421. Could have been 422 on Saturday but we made him umpire..

Re: SAAFL Division 3 2014
put a 1 in front of that 5 and that'd be more accurate... *edit - close, thanks Groove
I think folding is going a bit far Joker. They've lost pretty much a whole A grade side and their coaches. From what I've been told the funds to recruit are still available to a point but it pushes the point ...

Re: SAAFL Division 3 2014
Just how close to this are you PG?
We have our Ladies Day planned for that day. KFC and SAAFL won't reply to our queries. Should we be worried?
Ladies Day = important financial and associated benefits for our club.
I'm sure you're social event is number one priority for the Kilburn committee and ...

Re: SAAFL Division 4 2014
I am hearing there have been some handy signings out at Eastern Park. Dene Steele signed from Brahma Lodge last night (must like playing against SW) and a heap of young lads re-committed, should be very competitive next season i would of thought.

Re: SAAFL Division 4 2014
Sorry for intruding but.... I'm sure Brahma Lodge put a lot of faith in the people they chose to take the club forward. All of a sudden they all leave and they are left with nothing. People, what happened to getting behind the Aussie battler and not kicking them when they're down. We can talk all ...

Re: SAAFL Division 4 2014
Golden Grove clearly the best side in Div 4. Salisbury West next, then Eastern Park. Whoever the other two sides who make the finals are - they could cause an upset if things went their way and one of the "Big 3" had a bad day. But its the GG v the rest IMO. SW v EP to see who plays them in the big ...

Since everybody knows best, how would anybody have run the club differently from 2009.
2009 - Relegated to div 7 with 2 junior teams. No junior committee.
2014 - Most senior players moved on, In division 5, 5 Junior team and a junior committee. All because the a grade has been successful

Why wouldn't Harro be going on again?

Its a bit of a tricky situation and not ideal at the moment, but here's the facts:
