Re: Things that you rate!
My lad has just begun walking.
My wife sent me a clip on FB this morning of him walking, before turning around with the world's biggest grin of achievement, before letting out a victory "aargh" and continuing on his way.
So cute, but I can't stop watching the clip for the "aargh", classic!

Re: Grade Cricket
The issue with Sunday cricket is the predominately amateur players not having a life during cricket season. Add One day/T20/PL/SatSun/2nd11 the players have 0 weekends. Some may say, ‘if they are serious about their cricket and want to play FC then they shouldn’t care’, yes that’s true, but ...

Re: Grade Cricket
Technically clubs don't have to release U/18 players but who is really going to put a teenage kid through a tug of war like that?
Grade clubs simply shouldn't be trying to poach players at that age. Once they're 18+... no worries. Fair game.
when does the grade season start?

Re: Grade Cricket
Thought I'd have a quick look back at the past 5 seasons to try to measure on field strength.
I looked at how many times a club finished top 4 in A Grade, top 4 in the Club Championship (to measure overall senior strength) and top 4 in juniors (U16R&W, U14R&W) to measure overall junior strength.

Re: Grade Cricket
TTG Coach up to his usual tricks, approached three players from other Clubs that are known of to move next year, why does he not wait till end off season??
Pipe down matey, your continual digs at TTG are getting boring and starting to carry zero substance. Concentrate a bit more on your own club ...

Johno6 wrote:Botha will be banned soon anyway and save SA from having to deport him
If they ban Botha, then they have to act on Murali in the Big Bash league. He has got away with it for 18 years because the ICC were too scared of the Asian block.

Re: 2013 Ryobi One-Day Cup season schedule on Gem
Botha will be fine, they will just say he cant bowl a certain delivery. Bowled well in a couple of games but the last couple of decks they played on were not good for spinners (Cameron White v Nathan Lyon)

Re: Football Park Greatest Moments
I don't understand the hate of Footy Park as a stadium. Sure, it had some bad parts, especially compared to other AFL venues, but the facilities and viewing are still better than any suburban venue.

Re: Crows 2014
I don't think he is happy with the individual being injured, but maybe the impact on the team he plays for.
Would love to see them have no AFL listed players in their reserves team for a week or two at some stage this year, preferably when they play the Dogs
yeah lets hope heaps more get injured ...
