All these "epic rants" taking the top story spot on news websites nearly every day. Usually restaurant things like notes on tips or online reviews that result in them going "viral". Politics gives me the shits
So when people talk about politics in the shits thread, when politics has it's own whole forum, gives me the double shits.
When former mods complain about my "subtle hints" - this gives me the triple shits.

Simple really, funding. If you want more police policing, then something else has to give....but we're getting way to political now and FC will be in with a stiff broom shortly.

These recent pay rises for state MPs.

We allowed everyone to bring kids to ours as long as we knew they were coming. (to organise food, etc)
We had heaps of lawn games and stuff, dvd set up in one of the B&B rooms incase they wanted to crash out watching Disney movies. Some of the photo booth pics are hilarious.

About half of the people with kids under 5 came a fair way. Some from Pt Lincoln, some from NSW, so leaving kids in the hotel room wouldn't have been an option.
My best mate, who had a 4 month old, got his wifes parents to come and stay at the hotel and watch the baby while they enjoyed the wedding ...
