Re: Great Southern Football League

McLaren cant take a trick and look destined for the spoon.
Leading by 33 points early in the last quarter and looking all over a winner, the Creeks burst to life slamming on 6 - 2 to Nil from that point on to grab a 5 point win in the last minute of the game.

Willunga and Bays having a DRAW has ...

Re: Great Southern Football League

5 Favorites won last week and it should be the same story again this week.
Round 14
Match of the Day E Bay (5th) v L Creek (1st)
Bays have a very tough run home to the finals playing the Top 3 teams although they are all at home. Probably need 3 wins to ensure Finals and with the only guaranteed win ...

Re: Great Southern Football League

7 rounds in and i think we have found our 3rd flag favourite for the season
Tho there are no official markets it was generally considered at the start of the season that McLaren were slight favourite.
That quickly changed to Mount Compass but following successive losses it seems that Victor Harbor ...

Re: Great Southern Football League

No talk about gun forward Tommy Pinyon snagging his 100th goal of the season for Compass on the weekend. Congrats to the young man. A great effort by the Compass Junior. All this whining from SFL supporters saying GSFL has to recruit to be any good but the locals are certainly holding their own ...

Re: Great Southern Football League

Tips for this week end

Creeks by 7points in an absolute thriller today, however if Compass play their best footy they have the potential to blow creeks out the park early.

Re: Great Southern Football League

Nice review of the match fod.
Victors inaccuracy certainly kept McLaren in it
Was a weird scoreline that had spectators confused in the latter stages of the match as to just what the margin was at the time with as the Creek scoreboard doesn't show the total points for each team, just goals and ...

Wondering if I should I pay my $10 or jump the fence? Thoughts?

One feels better doing the right thing although i do know a number of people that have no problem with going out of their way to avoid paying. No coincidence they tend to be the ones that you ...

Compass went from 32 points up at half time to 38 points down at 3/4 time on the back of a SCORELESS 3rd quarter whilst Willunga piled on 11 - 4

Re: Great Southern Football League

Willunga take the Minor Premiership by % from Langhorne Creek as they overcame a 25 point half time deficit to win by 8 points at Willunga.
Creeks outplayed Willunga in the 1st half and their lead at half time should have been much greater than 25 points, having butchered several golden ...
