I wasn't at the game, I just followed the scores online, so I might be completely wrong; and no-disrespect to The Eagles, but that South performance cannot be tolerated by their club.
They have their best squad for years, were playing at home, and had the chance to open the season with a statement. But instead 15 goals to 7.
Will the loser mentality persist, with everyone accepting the loss? Or will a statement be made that this performance was unacceptable? It's well past the time to move on from Wright as a coach.
Sadly, I think my desire (as a Norwood supporter) for a competitive South to make the league that I love become stronger significantly outweighs the desire of South themselves to do what is needed to become competitive.
