Yes he is. A juinior who spent the last year or two at Reynella. Is just a touch over Caleb Daniel size. Played all three trials and looked OK.

Brodlach, I am a huge fan of Matty Raymond. Has an excellent footy brain and good skills. His first two reserves trials were a bit down but Friday's trial against North was much better. Last season he should have been given more league games. His performances last season demanded more league games. He needs to play 5 or 6 in a row to show what he can do. One of the problems is that the Eagles always play three tall forwards making it harder for a small to get a position. My only criticism of Matty is that he might not be dynamic or quick enough. Great to watch in the reserve though.

DOC, we have been a bit patchy in our trial games. Norwood looked very good against us but they were a couple of weeks and trial games ahead in their preparation. Our style of game has completely changed from our first trial against the Dogs to last Friday's trial against North. A lot more running in waves and playing on from frees and marks. Petrenko and Boyd were very, very good against North. Two very inexperienced players in Joe Sinor and Giles Ellis have been excellent in all three games, should be in the 21 for the first game. Nick O'Brien has steadily gained form, is a quiet achiever, goes under the radar, had 30 touches against Norwood. Always hits a target. Jarrad Redden has played all three trial matches, hasn't been outstanding but I think the club is happy just to see him have a run around and gain a bit of fitness.
Would hope to be a top four contender and then see what happens.
