I couldn't care less if we won or lost but to have Cornes (who has literally missed a whole generation of footballers since he last coached) & that other clown Rowe as chairman of selectors smacks of desperation and in way is deadset laughable - not unlike what the SANFL has turned into.

I cannot understand that one at all, he was given the run around down there today. Thought Boyd worked tirelessly, Kurtze dominated the ruck against a strong ruckman and Summerton never stopped trying.

But very poor effort, terrible coach that's for sure. We didn't play with any purpose or passion like we have under Godden or Hart in previous state games. Too much chipping it around slowly trying to break the zone and WA just ran it out easily when the inevitable turnover came...very UN SA like that's for sure. WA played with passion, speed and skill and deserved it.

But absolutely gutted, will take a while to get over. Already looking forward to the next state game in 2016

Must have been the best 11 disposals in Interstate football for a very long time to win BOG. Which panel of Nuffies voted for him or was it down to Grandpa Cornes and the Village Idiot Rowe?

Especially considering he was in defence and they conceded eighteen goals.

WA win by 45 points. I thought that BP in the comm. box was SA's best-on-ground today.

Thanks so much for the kind words, RB...

It was a nervous start from me, working alongside Glenn Mitchell and Rod Willett, but thought I settled in well...

The research on the WAFL lads and 4 hours of preparation I did the morning of the game certainly helped me...

Pity about the result, though...

To be 100% honest, I actually don't know, mate...

I would assume perhaps Matthew Duldig, who was over as the team manager, and perhaps Stepehen Rowe?

Perhaps @PhilH might know?

I'm particularly "enjoying" the fact that Newton, Panos and Bode have come back injured from this game.

Looks like Newton may be out for 4-6 weeks.

Yep, Bode had a suspected broken foot after having it was stepped on, Panos seemed to have aggrevated the hammy and Jucie hurt a quad, from what I could see down in the rooms, post game...

I for one cant wait until we go down the EPL path and sue the national/state comps when players are injured playing meaningless matches.

My understanding is the voting for Fos Williams Medal is a mix of SANFL coaching and officials votes. No media involved.

Well it is no wonder we got beaten easily if they are handing out Fos Williams Medals for 11 disposals! Good one Cornes you egotistical dinosaur with your dumb sidekick Rowe.

There is a bye after the Sturt game also
