Some good skill levels for the first 3 quarters
SA made a few costly boo boos in the last quarter, NA made less , pressure of an elimination final an excuse
SA had an excellent season, if they aint raped by the AFL , can be a BIG flag hope next season
Thring, Spina, Barns , Smith did enough when needed
Hender amazes with what he can do on a football field
Loved the umpiring style
Less charity free kicks, ala AFL

Was ridiculously over umpired and they even managed to give frees to the wrong sides sometimes, some in front of goal. ******* horrific umpiring.

Really nice day for free flowing footy, but we would've had more bounces/ball ups than tackles. It was ridiculous. The standard of the game is quick and intense but poor by hand and foot - possibly because of the pressure. However, it caused lots of ball ups and congestion around the stoppage.
Does the SANFL allow third man up because that would've alleviated the continuous ball ups between Osborn and Redden? Just a thought.

It was a perfect advertisemnet for the AFL to change the rules, the AFL has infected aussie rules across the whole country with the style of football employed now by almost every team in the country. Good luck any teams with the foot skills of amateurs being able to get through a high 18 man press. bring in zones not just starting positions
