Yep, you won that round. Congratulations.

What about the auditor, though?

if the auditor gives the all clear, Norwood won't face any sanctions.

Eight pages in and we're still discussing Glenelg's parlous financial result, seems like a result to me.

So I overplayed my hand on the selling of the clubrooms, unlike Dedja I can admit imperfection despite the relentless evidence of his posts.

The facts as they are remain that within the last two or so weeks Glenelg have reneged on a previously negotiated deal with one of their major creditors and have had to request further time to pay back the principal of a substantial loan. Secondly, the Holdfast Council's auditors have made specific mention of the GFC in their financial reports as a loan that needs to be watched. Happy to provide links, a successful business owner showed me how.

Do you deny any of the above?

But I need to know why have you stopped cracking jokes about who I am and what I do? Surely it's not just because I can now do the same?

FFS give it a rest Topsy or start your own thread on it if you're so obsessed about the Bays.

The obsession seems to be more about Dedja than the Bays...

Just caught up with the 8 pages of this thread

So Norwood are clean & get off 'Scott Free' & the Bays are selling their assets'?

Seems like not much has changed in 12 months - Dedja & Topsy still 'butting heads' :D

You seem to know a lot about other club's finances.

NFI.

Plenty of memory capacity once he gets through Glenelg's premiership years

You may be right, lets find out, I'm sure we will see some more of this soon......

But at the moment its based on someones conversion and thats where the info in this thread is at. based on that should we light the torches and ready the pitch forks now?

Plus we'd have to dump the annual Norwood are Cheats thread.

How would 3 clubs go broke overnight if the salary cap was gone?
It`s simple really. The 3 clubs keep spending the same they have for the last few years and they don`t fold.
Why should clubs that have had their financials in order be penalized for clubs that still can`t pull their finger out.
Honestly I am sick of hearing this.
P.S Who were the 2 teams that were the most aggressive in their recruiting for season 2014?
One of them were on the bones of their ass but some how pulled some pretty good recruits. And don`t give me the transfer deal with Central bullshit deal either.

"SCRAP THE CAP"

Isn't that exactly why the cap should stay? Sturt finish low on ladder, lose AFL players but are then able to compete in the market for players because they sell them on field hope and can compete financially? You could also argue that they targeted their recruiting at ex-Port players who came at a discount transfer rate and an AFL player who attracts no transfer fee.

Presence of salary cap = bottom side not stuck at bottom for years.

I was simply stating that if a club can`t afford to spend more, then they don`t.
Don`t spend over your limit = No club folds.
If we can`t have an open salary for the teams, then at least raise it to today`s standard, and I`m not talking adding $50,000 > $100,000.
As I said before why should clubs that have their finances in order be penalized by clubs that haven`t or clubs that have no salary cap at all.
It`s just ****** at the moment. :x

The salary cap is not there to protect the clubs.
It is there to keep the SANFL in check.
