We usually get a good turn out of Sturt supporters, and given the way they're playing I'm sure Sunday will be no different. Good show up of North supporters there yesterday.

I thought the game was well supported by followers of both clubs. Cracking day for it. By the looks of it the members facility must have been pretty full for lunch, as the area out the front was pretty packed when the main game started. Had a few beers from the van by the score board. The lone bloke in there was flat out all day. Got the feeling they did not expect quite that number along.

Alleway to say a big hello to his former club, kick a bag and lead the tigers to a win I reckon.

Still never understood why the roosters didnt get Alleway back!!!

That was simply coach McGregor's decision. Seemed strange then. Still seems strange.

Ok cheers I thought it might have had something to do with McGregor.

Now that the late, great Ontherails is no longer with us, I would be Alleway's greatest living fan, but on what I have seen in his two games against North this year, I think that he has gone on one year too long. He wouldn't have got to double figures in disposals in the two games combined. His only goal in the two games came into time on in the last quarter of the first game.

Given the Glenelg plight, the clear winter weather and the fact that it was a public holiday, I thought that the crowd was disappointing. In 2006, a Sunday game at Glenelg the two clubs drew 1,000 more people that Monday. And of course Sunday crowds are diluted by the clash with junior footy, I can't think of anything that would have impacted on Monday's crowd.

No I don't think so. At one point the only cold ones were WED's.... Still better than none I guess.

I guess they're learning. WEDs are better than nothing.
