Very even performance from the Eags with McGregor especially coming back into form. Allmond having a solid season and Borholm standing up well in ruck against bigger opposition.
Biggest test of the year this week against Power Reserves as they will almost be all AFL listed players.

My fiancé and I have been at Woodville the last two weeks. Crowd v Crows was just under 1400 and she said she thought the crowd on Saturday was a few hundred more; so seemed about right.

I am worrield about the overall standard of the SANFl.

First game I've seen for a while... agreed, the standard was terrible.

Worst game I can remember seeing of SANFL footy, basic error after basic error.

Not good signs for the comp.

4 points behind 5th place. As reigning premiers Has Sturt enough polish to break into the 5 in September.?
In 2012 the Eagles lost their first 5 games and lost 11 overall after being premiers the year before. Still made the finals but bombed out first week.

Its possible they may create enough wins to sneak into the five but they will need to sharpen up a lot to get there. I'm not sure they will this year.
