Well, unfortunately the trained monkey is already working as the SANFL's President and Commission Chairman. If he could read the hands on a clock he would work out he was working undertime and fit in some commentary.

Big Phil does a fine job. And, at any rate, we SANFL beggars can't afford to be choosers re: broadcasting at this point in time.

Big Phil does an awesome job. One of our most passionate, hard working and knowledgeable commentators covering the league.

The league needs more like him.

Happy to confirm State Game (SANFL v WAFL Sat May 12) will be on Life FM. Finalised today.

2 weeks out no trial results in the mail or other promotion. Mail does have AWFL and Victorian AWFL TAC cup results which mean nothing in SA.

Digital pass details up on SANFLs website now.
All games $30pa for members, $60pa for non members.
Or $6pm for members, $10pm for non members.

https://sanfldigitalpass.com.au/#/

What happens if I am an Adelaide or Port Adelaide supporter?

Unfortunately a Digital Pass product is not available for these two clubs, however you can purchase a Digital Pass through one of the other eight SANFL Clubs to watch all SANFL Macca’s League games this season, including Adelaide and Port Adelaide’s games.

So it's either $60 as a "non-member" or join one of the 8 clubs and pay $30.

So much for making us feel welcome.

I'm not sure what would be so hard about an option for the AFL teams with the fee split between the 8 SANFL clubs.

So given that is not an option, which SANFL club should I pick to purchase my subscription from? :-?

Serious question - Didn’t both the Crows & Power choose not to be part of the digital pass?

Serious answer, I don't know.

If it's money in the pocket of the fan going into the pocket of the SANFL why wouldn't they want it?

It's the SANFL forum involving the AFL sides, you can never be too careful. ;)

I must admit, it’s not very often you get a serious question on here being followed by a serious answer...

One thing I am pretty sure about is that Port Adelaide were a little puzzled as to why they/we weren't included in the program last year.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong - but if Booney purchases a Digital Pass through Centrals, then he would only have access to Magpies games
against Centrals wouldn't he?

I think the pass gives you access to all games so that would cover every Port game to I’d guess. That’s how I read it

This is from the SANFL website FAQ's at the start of last season -

Q. Why can’t I purchase an AFC Digital Pass?
A. The Club was invited to participate this year however have chosen not to. They will look at
participating in 2018. Please contact your Club for further information.

Ok so season cost is $60

But you get a discount if you are a SANFL club member.

Port and Adelaide are not SANFL clubs, they are AFL clubs with a team in the SANFL competition.

So what is the problem?

BTW - really good to see one pass gets every game available this season.

Interesting no mention of any free audio broadcast (for games not on Life FM)
not that it worked at all for me last year.
