I've been to a lot less games this year as a result of the AFL teams.

Simply I've lost the weekly routine of going to games now.

Last year there were 20 games I was keen to attend and would maybe miss 3 or 4 due to other committments. This year there are 18 games and 4 of those I just won't even contemplate going to. Throw in the split rounds (gee I'm glad we got rid of that dredded bye....) and it's easy to go 3 weeks without a match to go to.

I've also got mates that feel the same way so the weekly email to see who is going to the footy has disappeared.

Having said that, the clubs (no doubt the Eagles) will point to the attendances holding up and not falling away badly as "evidence" that they made the right decision.

Realistically it will need 3 or 4 years for the true picture to become clear.

Even the betting agencies see thru the truth of Port Adelaide. RIP Magpies

I'm quite surprised an agency based in the United Kingdom who uses the Northern Territory as an Australian base is even aware of the SANFL, let alone betting on it.

There are betting agencies based in Malta with no Australian base that have bet on SANFL for years.

Probably 95% of all markets that are offered by any bookmaker are copied from elsewhere.

Refreshing to hear Graham Cornes views on the Adelaide Oval deal with the Crows and Power this afternoon on the radio. Essentially saying he is sick of hearing Port and Adelaide say they are the ones putting on the big show so they should get more money when it is really the new stadium that is drawing the crowds and that stadium is the SANFL's for 6 months of the year.

Correct, Ive forked out over $2k this year in tickets purely because its been at Adelaide Oval and Ive known where the money is going, wouldn't care less if GWS and Brisbane played their home games there.

Yep. Crows and Power need Adelaide Oval more than it needs them.

Someone's posted on Facebook a WA news article. One
of WA's longest serving football commissioners has "quit in disgust" at the direction of WA football, with the inclusion of the afl reserves. He's also boycotting the WA gf, for the first time in 50 years. He's described it as a farce (sounds familiar).

Sounds very familiar...

"It gets more depressing as the Eagles reserves juggernaut rolls on to its ninth successive victory - something East Perth has not been able to do for decades when left to their own resources," he said.

Is it fair that Port and the Crows when they play in finals will have a home ground advantage?

LOL does it matter what they wear? Does this give an unfair advantage too?

Why, was it not the Port Adelaide Football Club? Was it not the SANFL?
