True but having studied the crowd stats at Noarlunga during my MM time down there most years the Glenelg game brought the 1st or 2nd highest attendance. North & Central (not surprising) were the two worst.

Yet, I am certain that when North play South at Noarlunga there are more North supporters at the game than South.

With the exception of West and the Eagles I think all other teams have more support at Noarlunga than South do, but that happens when you haven't won a flag in 50 years. I was negative 20 last time south lifted the cup FFS!!!!!

The 2013 SANFL Grand Final thread is locked so will have to post this here, the GF is being replayed on NITV at 7:30pm tomorrow night.

Get into it, guys! Still in the first quarter. There can never be too much SANFL broadcast nationally. Equally fascinating that NITV (who are "part of the SBS family") wanted it, and that ABC were willing to let them have it!

The commentary crew has been announced...

Mark Soderstrom, Tim Ginevar and John Casey will be the callers with a 'boundary rider yet to be publicly announced'...

Encouraging that games will be shown on 7 itself as well as 7mate & 7-2

Never minded him on the ABC as a special comments guy, thought he tried to add something to people's understanding of the game.

It's funny that at the same time Chris Kendall just last weekend called the Cairns Taipans/Sydney Kings game for NBL.TV

Casey returned to Adelaide/Channel7 recently, and has most recently been doing voice-overs for Today Tonight.

I would have liked to have seen a special comments man who has recently played at this level. I thought Chris Gowans was good on ABC last season and would have liked his involvement with calling SANFL games to continue.

Yep. He was good. If he can't make it, substititue with his brother. No need to change the promo.
