What a load of crap. You have no one else to blame but yourselves. "Your club" was one club well before Reserves talks were happening. Although one suspects, this was a plan all along. Port wanted a Reserves team every bit as much as the Crows.
As I recall it the first mention of reserve AFL teams in the SANFL came when Port were approaching the "one club" step and were knocked back on that possible component. The first mention of the Crows having a reserves team was them saying,
"Well if they get one we'll want one too!"That has turned into the Crows starting it?
