Does Benny have a strong assistant group around him? Im not familiar with Norwood's assistants.

No disrespect to Dugga, who is said to have a very good footy brain and feel for the game, but Im not sure there were a lot of outstanding candidates available. Certainly none with the experience Dugga has with a successful system, structure and style.

If Norwood tumble this year, which is a distinct possibility, at this point in time I would think it will have more to do with the cattle that's been lost and will take time to replenish.

Only 6 months?

Lucky if it gets to 6 months, he'll be on an AFL list by then. ;)

James Gallagher (Midfield)
Scott Bassett (Defence)
James Saywell (Forwards)
Also has the likes of Simon Feast helping the Rucks and Andrew McLeod with the magoos which he can call upon.

Being reported on the GSFL forum that Warren, playing for Langhorne Creek yesterday belted someone behind the play.
Norwood could be without a coach for a few weeks by the sound of that
Maybe the turning point of their season ;)

Definately not a great look.
Cant believe the club is stupid enough to let him play elsewhere whilst he is the head coach. Hopefully the club gives him a stern talking to and he gets on with his job of coaching

After he serves any suspension that may come his way of course.
Or would this be another concession from the SANFL for voting yes

Its obviously up to the SFL to decide if he gets any games or not but not sure what the rules are regarding him copping a sanction from the SANFL.

If he gets suspended from GSFL, that applies to all football

Fairly difficult to police though isnt it?
He just wouldnt be able to coach from the sidelines. Can still run trainings, select the team and attend the games. Pretty sure he can sit elsewhere in the grandstand and there are always phones to keep in touch with assistants during the game ;)

Or he could do a Hirdy and bring his club into disrepute, earn a years salary but still he allowed to associate with the club and attend matches, as long as his missus shuts up.
