I'd replace Bode with Webber. Hard to win if you don't get the pill out of the middle, and post-Zorzi/Suckling/Grigg/Matt Thomas, he's our #1 guy at doing so.

Otherwise, a good list. What a start to the year by Matt Panos, who's totally reinvented himself as a footballer. Wouldn't have been in anyone's top 15 most important Norwood players before the first bounce of the ball this year.

Worst team in club history.

So you don't rate Paul Thomas, Trent Goodrem, Tom Collier, Josh Glenn etc etc?

McGuiness - no defence without him and no one can replace him
Baulderstone - becoming one of the best ruckman in the comp and won't be surprised if he is drafted
Panos - SANFL's version of Roughead from the Hawks
Newton - if he fires and the jury is still out gives a big target who either marks it or brings it to ground for the crumbers
Bampton - a strong body who can win the hard ball, Legs lost plenty of them from last year and think he will get drafted as well

OK. Thanks Big Phil, apologies. You're right, of course I do, along with Brad Symes (ret. now), Ryan Williams, Jarrod Schiller, Travis Schiller, Scott Dutschke, Josh Waldhuter, Matthew Prior, Ben Nason and a couple of rookies.

I just forgot about them because all I saw yesterday were red white and blue traffic cones. That game was the second worst in 51 years of Central's League footy.

If you ranked each years team from 1 - 51 the current team would rank in the last 5!

Cmon Groucho don't be like that did you enjoy the twelve years at the top ???

Do you realise we have lost about 30 players over the last three years ???

Be a realist this Central side in the main is a new young side and will take time to develop.

1. Thomas
2. Collier
3.Goodrem
4.Williams
5.Glenn

OK thanks for that Apache. you're right. Apologies. Your list is about right, order below Thommo could shuffle and still be close. Also refer to my reply to Big Phil for the other players I usually rate highly. Watch out for Travis Schiller (a gem).

Amazing how in 24 hours things can look brighter.

Love your avatar! :)

Would pretty much agree with this. The only thing I would change is that I would have Retzlaff on the list. He may not be in the best, but being our only tall forward, is one of the most important.
