Sounds farcical (the reserves situation).

I could imagine. AFL - "we understand you intend to play football on your football oval". Norwood "yes". AFL " you can't do that". Norwood "okay". Norwood "oh, and by the way can we have some more concessions?"

You forgot the bit where they told their members they wouldn't cave in.

Let's hope our new club patron choked on his pie when he heard what happened tonight to the reserve team of the club he professes to love.

After Petrenko et al and tonight's farce season 2015 is shaping up to be a ripsnorter for the SAAFL.

Just about the most pathetic thing I've heard concerning footy. No wonder anything AFL is mind numbingly pathetic, throw into that the constant whining by AFL supporters about stadium deals, food pricing and waiting in lines.
Once upon a time going to the footy was just that. What a bunch of self important dickheads.

This beggars belief. How precious can the AFL get. Are they going out of their way to destroy grass roots footy.
You had better watch out because soccer is COMING!!!!
Surely the clown that made that decision has to be an imbecile

The AFL are way to precious about games on an oval before an AFL game. In saying that, surely someone at The Parade would have known what the restrictions placed on the use of the oval were.

You would have thought so. It is very pathetic but did Norwood get any benefit out of this as West did last year ?

I would've thought a giant brick wall just metres outside the boundary would be more of a concern to the AFL than too many games of footy on a footy oval with fine weather conditions.

Moved the boundary line in. The wall is just waiting for trouble , can't believe its allowed.I'm no AFL fan but I don't blame them for that,it's crazy.

Perhaps they ought to attach it to a room inside, so the Coach of the Reserves Team can use it? 8)
