Yeah, you're right, the land would be worth absolutely nothing, Im sure the SANFL would get nothing if they rented it out or sold it.

Wedgie hes right, I mean who would even want to go and train there after it was home to a bunch of ugly crows [emoji6]

What a load of toss!
Thats just a scare tactic the AFL clubs used into blackmailing the SANFL clubs, unfortunately the majority of clubs were gullible enough to fall for these lies

1. The fee to play in the competition
2. Crows are still paying their Dividend even when they don't have to no more.

The Crows save more money from getting free training facilities at West Lakes than what they pay to the comp.

This has been a long running agreement now as what is happening here. Surely the crows by now should be paying some rent????

Independence seems to have flushed out many interesting details about the financial deals in SA football, including Adelaide’s rent-free 40-year lease at AAMI Stadium that includes no cost to the Crows in maintaining the training and playing fields at West Lakes.

By the Crows’ valuations, this is worth $2m a year. Olsen may remind Chapman of this. So much for independence.

Still looking for you to break down that black hole for me SO? Should be pretty easy for you, broad brush strokes should do it.

The restrictions won't work to both AFL teams needs nor for the fairness of the comp. it's a shit heap which ever way you spin it, twist it or say it. Again, if they want to compete outside the salary cap then they don't play finals but compete for a Premiers Plate of who finishes top at the end of the minor round like in soccer. Anything else is pissing into the wind. If they don't like it they can **** off.
Do it now before the comp is dead.

Correct, their games shouldn't count toward premiership points.

they get free rent. surely on a facility that size it would be saving the crows hundreds of thousands of dollars on its own
