Thought there looked more like 2,500 there. Rowntree excellent and well supported by Boyd, Rakiwasa, McGregor, Jarrad, Poole, Martyn and a host of others. Thurlow a serviceable start to his league career and should form a formidable tandem with Borholm. Eagles assisted by North's poor skill level and poor kicking for goal. Eagles' zoning and pressing trapped North in their defence really well. With Petrenko, Wundke, Whittlesea to be considered after the break, pressure is on to perform. Clash against Sturt to mark 25 years since the Eagles first game against Sturt in 1991 is something to look forward to with hopefully the same result - an eagles win!

But it's 24 years since 1991...

It might be 24 years since 1991 but you have to include 1991 as one of the years so it is the 25 years.

But the 20 years celebration was in 2011 (v Sturt at Adelaide Oval). Does that mean there's going to be another one next year?

It's the 25th season, so it's a milestone as such.

South have it right, celebrating 20 years since first game at Noarlunga later this year, not last year.

Just odd that the club has its 25 years celebration 4, yes 4 years after its 20 years celebration.
