If anything this "circus" of changing jumpers at half time should be treated as a motivating act of defiance from the boys of the South, i understand the concept but it's somewhat disrespectful to the opponent of the day.

It’s a psychological advantage. One half you are down chasing jumpers from one club then the next half it changes team.
