Happily got this one wrong.

Thought we would struggle today to contain the 3 headed monster.

Umps were poor, but Sturt were still the better team on the day, Bays have some work to do.

Sturt's set play kick out goal in the last quarter was incredible.

Yep.

I actually hope Sturt go through the minor round undefeated.

Now looking quite likely; None of the other 6 teams look capable of knocking them off.

Have they played the Eagles at Woodville yet?
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

In a quirk of the draw we haven’t played the eagles anywhere yet.

Norwood and the bays twice, eagles for the first time next week

We’ve had 10 teams for over 60 years (yes, was 9 for a bit) but obviously it’s too difficult to come up with a draw that makes sense

Playing the same side again after a handful of weeks gives me the runs.

How were the umpires poor? Glenelg cost themselves the game by not kicking straight

The umpiring was horribly poor. The umpiring didn’t cost Glenelg the game. Glenelg wasted numerous opportunities in the 3rd qtr & should’ve been 4 goals up at the final change. Sturt were cleaner & more direct and anyone who still says they’re not flag favourites needs their head read. Oh, and I call bull-shit on the crowd figure of 5k. There was a hell of a lot more than that there yesterday.

By both sides copping decisions which were either arbitrary or imaginary, while certain blatant infringements were missed. What was an otherwise good game was spoiled as a spectacle by those clowns. Corey Bowen would've done a better job.

I don't disagree with your second sentence BTW but I reckon you're selling Sturt short. Kicking straight or not, Sturt was the better team on the day.
