You'd think the concept that the SANFL became a reserves comp when two reserves teams entered it really wouldn't be that difficult.

I think Kickinit is fully aware its a reserves team, I think he's just fishing to annoy people...

Like I said earlier in the thread, the majority of us and I think the football public will see the Magpies as dead and this new team as nothing more than a Power Reserves team in someone elses guernsey, but for a select few PAFC supporters, they'll still think/hope/believe/deceive themselves, that its still the same old Magpies that dominated the SANFL.

Just leave them to it I reckon... if he's happy, he's happy, if it all works out for the league, kudos to those in charge... if not, well it was good while it lasted I suppose and at least we have the memories of a league with integrity and colour and passion.

There's plenty of other leagues and sports we can all support if this one doesn't work out like we hope.

Wow, that drivel deserves a thread of its own. About the only fact I can see in that is Port's phone number.

The other great example of smoke and mirrors is the dribble about "removing the bye".

All we've done is gone from one team having a bye each week to having a whole bunch of split rounds.

A week without footy is still a week without footy - whether it's one team with a bye or 4 or 6 teams with a week off during a split round.

What is the actual benefit of removing the bye if it's replaced with multiple split rounds?

Absolutely nothing - it's just self serving rubbish.

And there you have it. You lot can't even agree on what you are!

The West Lakes boys are a bunch of Mercenaries full of rotated "top-up" players that are somehow meant to loyally play for the guernsey.

Port Adelaide is a multi-tiered CLUB, with squads of contracted players that all play for the PAFC.

If you think there's one iota of difference between the Crows Reserves and the Power Reserves you're barking.

I'll classify the port magpies as a reserve side, especially seeing the SANFL hasn't had a league team since 1990. By the way how does it feel to support a club that hasn't won a league flag.

I'm just going by what you and your bubbly apache are saying. Players that don't make their AFL team are by you classified as reserve players. Which makes the team they play in a reserve team. They are your words buddy, i'm just following your words of wisdom.
