This us a non-AFL weekend.
A poor crowd today means SOMETHING has stuffed things up. What do you think it would be?
Who finished 6th? Port? Let's just say there were no reserves and Port were playing Central and the Ravens didn't exist and this was a non-AFL weekend...
The reserves is a disease.

Yep, if they were ever going to turn up, it was going to be today.

Can anyone upload a photo of the crowd?

PoSAs by 9 goals at the half.

I have heard stories that VFA reserves crowds get a decent turn out in similar situations, where their senior side is not playing.
We were wrong to use the VFA experience as a potential model of what we thought would happen. As dire as some of those stats were, it is now obvious that what the Reserves means for the SANFL is actually a lot WORSE!
And there were AFL lovers that told us things wouldn't get THAT bad, crowds were supposed to actually get better.

Well with the 4,000 Ravens fans who allegedly turn up to minor round games, there'd hardly be a spare seat anywhere in the stadium for the convergence of Apicot munchers. I am guessing that you took that photo at 11:00 this morning, before they threw the gates open to the general public. No?

I think the international vacant seat appreciation society would scramble over one another for a copy of that photo.

The important thing is this is a victory for the boards wise decision.

Cheers, csbowes.

To be fair, most Crows fans are facing an ethical conundrum, since today's final coincides with the judging of the best 'home-made two-handed mug that most resembles Taylor Walker' at the Royal Show.

Perhaps if they had the foresight to have placed that mug on the interchange bench for the duration of this game, they'd have gotten about 6,000 like last time Tex played for them.

Central fans still giving great support, crows cheer getting less and less must have left early to beat the "rush"

And rightly so. Two or three of the Ravens players combined would earn more than the whole Dogs side. I'm more pissed off the Dogs havnt gone the biff though

This.

Dogs fans, are any players retiring after this year?
