Is white Norwoods answer to the Powers turquoise?

Nah the white represents the colour of the flag North put up during the last quarter of the 2013 GF ;)

Give us a break! We were coming off 5 straight losses in the minor round and played a few decent finals, at least it made for a good send off of Footy Pk :)

Ummm, kicking 4 goals in a GF would hardly constitute "a good send off" to footy pk

4 goals are better than 1. ;)

Disagree, the crowd made it the best atmosphere at a SANFL game in over 10 years and even though I wasnt talking about the game we were still in it for 3/4s and to do that coming from where we were 4 weeks earlier was amazing. Its not like we only kicked 1.6 like Port managed against us in a GF too! :)

When did Norwood start winning? Did have anything to do with a current Tennant?

Is that aimed at me because it looks like your responding on centurions behalf. or you have forgotten to log out of your second user name.

Either way still waiting for something to happen.

Why would you and another Norwood supporter bump the thread bringing it to prominence again while implying you're annoyed of the prominence this topic has?

The ABL are in to there 5th year, with championship series to be held there in a fortnight. Since the Adelaide Bite have been playing at Norwood Oval, the Redlegs have became a force of the competition allowing probably more spend in the football department!!

The Adelaide Giants played at Norwood oval in the old ABL for about 10 years in the 90's and drew decent crowds. We were not a force in that period so that blows that argument out of the water.
Not enough credit by outsiders given to Bassett who totally transformed the way the whole football department was run. Like him or not he brought a ruthless and professional attitude to the club and set up a model from which the club will continue to see success for years to come

Not annoyed mate. Mildly amused how this came to after as it has been said yo me that Centurion is always on the money. And yet we wait.

Also the fact that it appears o Five is a multi of Centurion also makes it funny.

This might be outdated because I haven't checked on it for a few years, but the club really made very little out of the baseball agreement. There were many at the NFC (and also within the Baseball association in SA) who didn't want the partnership to continue.

Substitute annoyed to mildly amused then, same point. Easily amused then.
I know both 0Five (a North supporter I first met in 1991) and Cenutrion (a Central supporter I met first in the 00s) and I don't think they've ever chatted let alone are the same person.
But whatever floats your boat, if you wish to keep bringing to prominence the issue then so be it. People will start to think smoke/fire.

There are three reasons why the Norwood Football Club rose to the top.
1. Bassett
2. Bassett.
3. Bassett.

Baseball has nothing to do with and that comes from a playing life member of the Kensington Baseball Club.
The Bite are doing well this year but in past years along with the Giants they have been very average.
