That's a pretty handy half forward line for the Bloods, all AFL players and Schmidt and Harding on lists as well at the moment.

The Bloods have a pretty good looking line-up, will be interesting to see how Pettigrew goes though after an extended period out of the game with his knee issue. Has he played a ressies game yet or is he straight back into league footy?

Shame Hartlett is out (injured again). He was just finding some good form and is a valuable "swing" man, playing good footy at both ends of the ground.

Would still like to see a recognised 2nd ruckman, either Borholm or Webb.

Still missing 3 big men in Ferguson, Hartlett and Lobbe. I think our lack of height may hurt us this weekend

Maybe there was more in Gowans words to Habel?

Real real danger game very strong looking West line-up who also play well at home, only question is will they attack the Dogs enough to kick a winning score.

I had Sturt to make the five. Now, looking at that Westies side I think it's going to get pretty interesting. As mentioned, the Dogs will have to be switched on to get over the line.

I think the only time we worry about Sturt is round 22 (IIRC). If they do manage the Houdini and finish 5th I doubt they'll cross paths with the dogs in the finals. But you never know.

Habel possibly a little unlucky to be dropped, but he just needs to iron out those little brain fades he seems to have with his decision making. Good to see Sutherland back, Hardy just doesn't look quite right in the ruck and there's not enough time left in the season to get him into the groove of it. Matt Westhoff very lucky to get that break, and I doubt he'll make the final cut. Perhaps simply because Schell is out again and Havelberg has hardly played all year he gets a reprieve. All in all, unless there's an injury cloud I expect Schiller and Westhoff to go out of the side.

With respect to West, no Porps.... can't see how westies can win unless centrals "want" them to, not that I think centrals can afford or would want to missout on finishing top. Go Doggies?

Sturt to finish the season on fire and then continue their whole Jekyll and Hyde act and bomb out in the Elimination Final.

Another late change for the Dogs with Adam Switala out of the side, hurting his groin at traning last night...

There are now 3 changes for the Dogs:

INS: J.Nash, J.Sutherland, M.Westhoff

OUTS: A.Switala (inj), L.Habel (ommitted), J.Hardy (ommitted)
