That one hurts. Could have buried the Dogs and put the game beyond doubt during the second half but weren't good enough.

The reversal of the Veide goal in the final term was pivotal at the time. Anybody know why this happened?

Failed to make the most of Brooksby's dominance in ruck.

Third loss this season by 2 goals or less. Cant win the close ones. Cruical loss in the context of the season.

Dogs take home the Integrity Cup.

Absolutely gutted...
Dominated clearances and inside 50s, in control of the game at 3/4 time, everything to play for....-folded like a pack of cards. Yes we were missing a few - Fields, Crabb and Thewlis...but our poor use of the ball and the insipid delivery to our forwards cost us in the end.
Several players were missing in action today...hopefully the week off will do us some good.. :(

Good win today. South looked like they were going to run away with it. Not sure why Waldhuter wasn't moved off Eddy earlier. Josh Glenn showed his class and composure once again. His move up forward in the last probably won us the match. Love watching him play. Goal of the day to Retzlaff. It was a beauty!

Veide for South would be a much better player if he stopped playing for a free kick every time he goes near the ball. It must be frustrating for a coach to watch that.

It was nice of Rolfe to acknowledge me when I asked him politely from the other side of the fence who he was going to put down behind play this week.

Had a lovely meal in the club before the game as well. Always love going to Noarlunga.

I was there today with 3 mates and Delta and I've encountered more atmosphere at most mini league games.
Well done to the Central supporter on Facebook that was excited for matching South as far as amounts of supporters went.

Absolutely Wedgie. I go to ,and look forward each year , to the Noarlunga game cos its only around the corner for me
But.....The decision to allow cars to park around the oval is an absolute JOKE... Seriously...They must be losing money in lost beer sales and food and
not to mention those 4 or 5 hundred that are sitting in their cars add ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!
Today's game was a fantastic , free flowing game of SANFL but you could hear a pin drop until the last qtrs. when the dogs were coming and the beers had kicked in. Leave the cars for amateurs and country footy.

Weslo caught a Central supporter with a bottle of beer, he walked him around to the bar and made him pour it into a plastic cup and let him walk away with it!
I said to Weslo "Youd get the Cops to arrest a North support for that!"
His come back "not necessarily"
Mind you I probably did confuse him wearing a South hat.

I agree with you 100% andyw . South and the SANFL should turn it back into a football oval.

I don't mind the cars coming in. The outer hill and far wing always looked so desolate. What does annoy me is people have taken to parking on the fence.

Pleased to help out .... It happened right in front of me ....

Jarrod Schiller was about to take possession when someone scragged him by the jumper and the umpire paid the obvious holding the man free kick,
Veide kicked the ball away so it was a 25 metre penalty.

Roy Laird promised the Centrals players at 3/4 time that if we kicked the first two goals South would panic, and he was correct as usual.

Two things South rank # 1 at -- Great BBQ and very family friendly with a permanent playground and a bouncy castle.

And again Noarlunga Oval has its own weather -- beautiful day for footy

Just really shattered tonight. That one hurt.

Some of the skills errors were deplorable from us. To Centrals credit they applied the pressure on us well.

Thought McIntyre was very good today for Dogs and we had no one to hold him.

Some players for us went missing today and some others are lucky to be in the side ATM.

Kills me to say that us Southees get promised so much and have so much hope every year but we just let ourselves down when it counts time and time again !!!!

Centrals a team out of the 5 played hungry footy...and got the results.
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

In the context of the current arrangement, a non issue, in my humble opinion.

Good character win by the 'Dogs today. Agree with posters about Glenn, fantastic today, and had a few mates. Thommo a very good Captain"s game.

South showed a fair bit of class from deep in the second quarter to early in the fourth but couldn't really break free, they were never allowed to, a characteristic of our Premiership sides.

Also very encouraging to see high spirit and expectations down south deep into the season. The League needs these two Clubs firing
