Just 4 goals after 1/4 time for South a worry. Was good to see Eddy find some form, but lacked support.

South have only played decent footy in patches this year, and have made hard work of beating ordinary sides in recent weeks. A couple of true tests coming up in the next fortnight with the Legs and Bloods to see where we're really at because 2nd spot is flattering us.

Centrals had a dip but seemed to drop a lot of marks. Jansen with the game equalling goal with only a minute or two to go.

Centurion the main winner on the day. 8)

yes! Winning a fully signed Novita match ball was a bit of a highlight.

In the reserves, South ruckman Steffe had 76 hit outs, the entire Dogs team had 22. Massive effort

He is 7 feet tall that kid!!

Did he do anything else? Always looks like he lacks coordination when he plays, hopefully he is getting better as his height is a definite advantage.

Just needs to put on a bit of "beef"on his frame and he will go places.

Big future ahead for the lad.

One thing I think no one has reported on yet

The 1,342 attendance according to my records is the lowest of all time at Elizabeth Oval

That's not the first time that crowd figures have been accused of being fudged, though, is it?

Certainly wasn't a big crowd.

I got there as the final siren of the reserves went and I got a park 50m from the northern entrance

Don't think they would ever report a crowd of under 1000.

Throw a few 100 more to make it look good for the books

I'm positive I've seen sub-1000 crowds at Noarlunga published in the early 2000s. Absolutely certain of at least one - high 900s.

Anyone saying that 'the weather' is to blame for low attendances this year...'the weather' hasn't a patch on this day.

The game against Adelaide last year at Elizabeth was sub 1000. Lowest I had seen it.

No kidding?

How many were officially there in the final round of 2010 (I think) when Glenelg played Central for the minor premiership? The weather was as feral as I have ever seen it and the crowd was understandably small.

That was the worst weather I have ever experienced at a game.

When you have the ball on a string at the stoppages who cares how many possessions he registered.....his midfield probably ran away with it before he could get a touch ;)
