Just looking for a bit of clarification here EHL.
I bought the budget today and they have the record as played 5 Ravens won 3 Sturt won 2.
They also have a list of the last 3 encounters. The two from 2016 shows the same scoreline as you have supplied, but they have omitted the R18 result from 2015 where Sturt was pummelled, so they have the third game as R7 2015 showing the same scores you have supplied for the R9 game 2015, so obviously that is the one they meant to quote.
I am thinking that you are correct, 3 years, they play each other 2 times a year = 6 games between the two sides. I am just curious about the rest of it, as they seem to have missed a game where Adelaide won, yet they have deducted a win from Sturt's overall tally rather than the Raven's.

Would like to see a replay of today's game. From my possie on the hill I saw a lot of infringements by the Ravens, a lot of arriving second to the ball and sloppy play. Admittedly I was with TRB junior and spent a lot of time watching him than the game, so when the free kick count was displayed it came as a bit of a shock. I am wondering how much might be my own bias. Is there a replay available?

I just watched the game (recorded) and didn't notice any we got that weren't there ( the Ottens tackle on Riley was tough but technically there). Probably 3 or 4 that they weren't awarded that they could have been...

Sturt were first to the ball and reaped the rewards of that. The Crows were quite sloppy and undisciplined with their defensive efforts.

South and Central both put up very ordinary performances while Sturt applied constant pressure and generally executed well with a lot fewer turnovers than either of the aforementioned sides.

Leaving Kirkwood aside (obviously BOG), Hone, Lienert and Harms all played out of their skins. Hansen also fantastic but needs to make the most of his chances.

Next week will be a much tougher assignment.

Yes you can get an online copy for $25 by calling James oniell at the sanfl. Been doing it all year. Get it on the Monday.

Well done Sturt, keeping the Crows out of the grand final...for this year at least. We can only hope that the A-grade Crows continue their well-honed tradition of missing out on or ******* up finals matches.

I must say that the events of the last three weeks have left a bitter taste in my mouth as to the integrity of our Essayeneffell finals series. The most important time of the footy season has now been turned into a cross between a bad joke and a spin of the chocolate wheel at a local church fete.

By the way, Keith Conlon was happy with result. In fact, Keith would've been happy with any result.

Yes, and it was double-sided.

Or you can get it for nothing via the Plus7 (channel 7) app or website.

They've been iffy at times over the journey in putting up the SANFL, but are in a hot streak at the moment. Games expire about 4 weeks after being played.

I was hoping for a tough brutal final as most Prelims are, with heaps of injuries. This one was so docile. Some of the crows were playing safe for next year.

It was bordering on pathetic what the ravens dished up. On a par with the cheating umps.

You mean they were 'playing to the line'...oops, I should've said 'playing to the lie'.
