They must have the legs for it

North with better game plan, better skills and higher intensity today probably deserved to win by more. Thring led by example. After years of sh!t, no wonder north fans were happy today. Poole and Jack Hayes best for Eags.

Yep, disgraceful effort by North yesterday time for another review.
I do know one who called for his head but he's also a Crows and Adelaide United supporter so nothing else really needs to be said about him.

Not this one, many others thought the same as me, Carr was (is) the right man for the job, a couple of well fitting recruits and after the review, a properly functioning football department, don't under estimate the improvement that has helped achieve

I don't think many blamed the coach at all for last year. Other factors were at play and were dealt with. Seemingly with success so far.

Max Thring, Jack Firns and Joe Heinjus have all been fined $200 and reprimanded for incidents from Sunday's game.
Thring may well be leading the Magarey Medal at this stage, is he now ineligible?

I think he's okay.

The game on Sunday was the best we had seen this year. A great advertisement for SANFL football, especially the second half, very attacking and some very good skills from both sides. North's tackling was excellent and their recruits, some of whom we know very well, were very damaging. The chorus of song from their tuneful fans as their players left the ground was really loud as it echoed off the old stand. The players loved it, lot of emotion there!

ATTANTION: Theri and very nice to see you're still around too. Have been at the games, all the miserable ones of the last few years. Just haven't had the heart to post. Maybe we should fire up the old thread
