Wouldn't be a 'sustainable financial model' either one would of thought.

So I sat a handshake away from Graham and Kane Cornes yesterday, Kane's kids had Magpies guernsey's on :)
Also there were a heap of what looked like Glenelg past players dressed to the nines just below us, I noticed Carey, Chigwidden and a few other familiar heads I couldn't put names to. I was thinking it could of been the 86 premiership side, anyone know?

Wasn't my cup of tea sitting up there but great seats

Poor form for all you **** who underestimated your sides and severley overated "so called professionalism" stop your **** whingeing you almighty sooks. Your sides stack up, moreso in finals. Well done Glenelg by far the better side today and all season. Men v A bunch of guys who couldn’t give a **** about winning today

;)

If you think players cross the line to play and don't care about winning you know less about the game and it's participants than I give you credit for.

C’mon Booney, you know exactly what I mean.
Do you really think the Port players put their head on their pillows Saturday night and had the same thoughts and dreams as the Glenelg players?
It was so evident in the first 10 minutes that Glenelg had a different intent to Port.

Of course Port wanted to win but nowhere near as much as Glenelg did.
There were a few Port players who I wouldn’t call soft that squibbed the contest when it required them to go harder.
I’m sure Marshall was told not to get injured or do anything stupid.

At the end of the day a ‘B’ grade premiership doesn’t mean as much as an ‘A’ grade one hence why Glenelg were always going to win.

Glenelg were fantastic and deserve the win as their pressure and tackling was first class.

No, you said blokes "Who couldn't give a shit about winning", that's simply unfair to put that label on them.

Would they be playing in a Grand Final if they didn't give a shit about winning? Would they have fought in the 2nd Semi like they did? No. I stand by my comments, it's a crap assertion to make.

Would you like me to change it too:
Don’t want to win as much as the other teams?

And they made the finals coz they are a far better team than most of the sanfl teams.

It’s not the same and unfortunately it never will be.

I’d prefer they’d change their name officially to Power reserves and change guernseys too.

Port/crows made finals due to a low injuries.
However Port during the year and 2nd semi were trying to win. Port became my fav side this year $$$$$

Port are more likely to win a flag before the Crows. Crows put the cue in the rack in most games and failed to really sink the boots in.

As for the GF. Port looked like they werent trying. The game was over at quarter time.
Not because Port weren't trying but because Glenelg outplayed them in all aspects.

Do you mean would have?

Sorry couldn't resist. Thank you both for reminding me why I hate Port supporters so much.

Well my comment was in reference to one of your comrade's post in the Port Adelaide thread. We get a few of them in there, they can't stay away.

Anyway, anyone see Max Gawn there yesterday?

Did swallow about 10 beers in the carpark after the U17 Futures game though, so nothing changed there :D

Looked like a good crowd at the Bay after party . Probably more at an after game SANFL match than at Port I have heard.

So just the 3 clubs yet to taste premiership success this century.
Cant sink the boots in to 2 of them too much, only been around for 6 years.

I really hope South get their turn next year.

Really impressed with the Glenelg turnout yesterday, crowd was easily 60/40 in the Bays favour, possibly more

The most dominant ruckman all year . I thought he finished last year very well and had a great year this year. Took him a half a season to get used to it last year.
