Not at a SANFL club, no.

Would have thought Norwood would be the second favourite for his signature, behind Golden Grove !!!

Wouldnt surprise me, i worked with his sister for years and they were originally from Victoria before they moved over to SA when he was a tad younger. They would go visit family in Victoria fairly often.

Expect 2019 Premiership teammate Will Gould to join him.

Add Kitschke, Beeken or Wisdom and that’s our three key defensive outs replaced

Correct.

Spoke to a SANFL Footy Manager recently, who had enquired about Trent's services in 2024, but he was advised by the Redleg's Premiership player that he'll be returning to Melbourne to be with his partner.

Nathan Bassett back at Norwood in a 'Coach of the Coaches' role...

With himself and Twig both being strong personalities, will be interesting to see how that looks on game day.

Wouldn't be surprised if Reeva has had a little whisper in his ear ;)

Rawlings is a dead man walking.
Would think top 3 is the minimum required for him to keep his job and if we start the season like we did last year he will be gone by June. That shouldn’t and won’t be tolerated again

From Sturt FC Social Media:

Welcome to the Double Blues Flynn Perez.
The Club is pleased to announce the signing of ex-AFL player Flynn Perez from North Melbourne Football Club. The 22-year-old was drafted at pick 35 in the 2019 AFL draft and went on to play 24 games at AFL level.
"Flynn is a highly skilled player with an elite kick," said Senior Coach Marty Mattner.
"A country lad from Bendigo, he spoke openly about his desire to continue to play football at a high level and in a great club environment.
"We are really looking forward to seeing his positive influence on the team," said Mattner.

Anyone know anything about Flynn?

Name: Austin Harris
Age: 20
Height: 178cm

Austin Harris joins the Roosters for season 2024 after spending the last 2 seasons in Essendon’s VFL program. Austin is originally from Cairns and came through the Gold Coast Suns Academy. Austin was an All-Australian through his junior years and has played at VFL level with both the Gold Coast and Essendon. Austin is quick over the ground, and has the versatility to play forward, midfield, and defence. He has some x-factor and uses the ball well when in possession.

A classy two-footed defender, Flynn Perez was drafted by North Melbourne having suffered an ACL rupture in his draft year.

A capable dual-sport athlete in his youth, Perez also captained Victoria in underage soccer before nominating football as his sport of choice.

He recovered from his ACL rupture in 2019 to make his AFL debut in 2020, playing the final three games of the campaign.

North Melbourne debut: Round 16, 2020

2022: Another disastrous ACL rupture meant Perez was inactive throughout 2021, but the resilient young defender bounced back to play 15 senior games in 2022 – his most in one year.

Shutting down opposition small forwards became a strength of Perez's, while his ability to find the footy grew week to week.

Averaging 12.4 disposals and 3.1 marks, the 21-year-old capped off his career-best season with an impressive performance that included 24 touches and five inside 50s.

As one of the club's more certified small defenders, a spot in North Melbourne backline for 2023 will be open to him if he can add consistency to his developing skillset.

If he can stay fit, Perez will be a star of the competition. Has all the attributes of an AFL Player

Is there another Austin Harris out there?
The one who played with us was legitimately one of the worst players I’ve seen at VFL level and didn’t get more than about 5 touches in any of the 4 or 5 games he played and then he disappeared by about round 10 never to be seen again

Anyone who has listed being part of one of the Northern Academies as an honour in their bio is a massive question mark for mine.

So many spuds have come through these, big red flag.

EDIT - same one. 4 games, 1 goal for Essendon, didn't play in 20222 - https://www.playhq.com/public/profile/f ... tenant=afl
