We'll know by next week at the latest .. It's not causing any harm at present. The football department will still be getting their ducks in a row in talking to potential new players, re-contracting existing players etc, and a portion of that is still dependent on the AFL drafts which are 2 weeks away.

The coaching appointment is taking too long for me. You would think some potential players would like to know who their coach is going to be before they sign on.

2 weeks to interview a dozen (at a guess) candidates properly and then narrow it down for second round interviews. Hardly a long time!
This sort of decision is the most important thing that will happen at the club since Bass signed on!

Hearing it will be done early next week, perfectly fine by me.

As I tell my clients, better to take some time and do it right rather than rush things and xxxx it up !
It takes as long as it takes.

Nice one.

Could both your reigns end in 2014?

If we don't win the Premiership in 2014 it will only be a hiccup during our dynasty just as you had hiccups in 2002 and 2006.

I believe our club will announce the new coach early next week :D

Always thought Linda Evans and Joan were overrated, but Emma Samms went pretty well

I doubt it, and I really dread the thought of all those sideways kicks to other defenders. Your games are SO boring to watch.

There was a time in my life when I wouldn't have objected to being "coached" by Joan Collins.

Apparently he did, but then Joe changed his mind.

Would make him the 7th most credentialed coach appointed to SANFL for next season. Not necessarily the 7th best coach of that group but wouldn't have got a look in for other jobs.

Didn't exactly announce it, just said Tim Weatherald would be a good choice.
