Yeah how does Poole get a game hasn't had a kick for 5 weeks...he must train well....don't tell me Ron Fuller is back at Oval Ave.....not only is he an oompa loompa he's the slowest player in the league ...maybe he should bring out his skateboard.......

Don't be too sure. All the Bays need to do is tackle a bit and the eagles headcases will fold fairly quickly. This could come earlier than expected if it is wet.
Adelaide's sports psychologists should look forward to 21 blokes being booked in for an extended period shortly.

I like Goldy but has he been hampered by injury this year ? His first week in the seconds he got touches all be it mainly in the second half .

If he's injured he wouldn't be playing at any level. Would be a combination of form and attitude I would think.

completely off topic but...

is this the first pre game thread this season (or at least in several weeks) that has made 5 pages??? (and counting?) not a complaint at all, just an observation. its good to see.

that was my thought exactly. i dont know about anyone else but i have notived a marked decline in posts in both before, but particularly the after game threads? it seems we are lucky to get two pages on a pre game thread and three on a post game thread. the other week there wasnt even a post game thread for the north game, it was just added into the pre game thread!

but i must be wrong, i keep getting told that interest in the competition has increased this year.....

Queue big Phil.

The Crows seem to have overestimated what their inclusion would have on the SANFL, they thought it would bring a lot more interest where in essence its brought less especially to games involving the Crows.
The AFL would be laughing though, the AFL forum has been going off this year.

that may be the obvious tradeoff. i wouldnt know, i dont spend as much time in the afl board as i do here, however if there has been an increase there it could also have been contributed by the re-inclusion of the crows and power sections wedgie?? there does look to be more talk in their threads, but a lot seems to be from supporters of the other teams, rather than crows supporters talking amongst themselves as it had been. just a thought :)

For the first year ever I have a much bigger interest in the AFL than the SANFL

Because of the AFL Reserves thing, because Glenelg are getting belted every second week or because the Kangas won last night?

Or a combination of all three, perhaps? ;)

well I cant answer for Dutchy, but my reasoning is the AFL reserves

Glenelg getting belted every week never stopped me going weekly to watch in rain hail or shine
