Well someone has to start it:
Falling attendances and membership despite 11 GF appearances in a row results in the President having to write a passionate plea to members / supporters
Players injured in night club brawls
No money to change the light globes!
Belted by West in Round 1

This long run of grand finals is a double edge sword. It's all a bit ho-hum. Why rock up during the regular season when you can wait till the end for all but guaranteed glory.
The rest of the supporters only have a few wins during the season to celebrate.

Centurion is spot on ... Dogs have often failed to dominate the minor round but they finish top 3 and then fire up in the finals.
Its not the first time in recent years I have seen Central belted in a minor Rd game (Sturt 2009 & Eagles 2008 have had both won by 80+ points in recent years) but they have been one offs.
Let's judge after Rd 5 when they have also played South, Norwood and Glenelg ... if they are 1-3 at this point then its a concern.
More of a worry would be the off field concerns with "average" memberships & home crowds, functions cancelled and no money for a light upgrade. The sun is shinning but is hay being made?

I don't like the inference here and it was player, singular. Apparently the player was king hit outside the night club after going to the assistance of an unconcious person receiving a kicking.
Vastly different circumstances to your sinister implication.

It must be getting bad out Elizabeth way. Centurion seems to be losing his sense of humour.
