You blokes can take the piss all you like but I know what I saw and heard. I work there and twice Greg Edwards and Mickan met there when I was working. Edwards made a clear offer to Mickan the other day. I would stake my daughter's life on it that's how sure I am. It just confirms to me that he was offered both roles and chose West. I know what I saw.

A mate as well as me heard numbers being discussed and both we heard were under $100k. Don't know why I bother telling you since everyones just taking the piss. I guess we will never know but I know what I heard and saw. Others were around too.

Didn't hear much at all that was said in the first meeting I saw but was on break last week and sitting nearby for the second time we saw them.

So with Mickan knocking them back as well, they must be down the list a little.

I really believe North have to get this one right because with the quality of their juniors coming up the Roosters could have a flag very soon.
North and Eagles are the big threat within the next few years and beyond.

Team success at junior or reserves level is a very poor predictor of future senior success of club.

Not talking about success but the quality of young kids those clubs have. My mail is North have some rippers !
How many U18 and Reserve flags have Norwood won in the last 5 years but look at the quality of young players coming through.
Totally agree flags at that level does not mean a lot overall.

Pretty sure no offer was made. Interviewed, yes but North were still in the process of more interviews. Mickan was offered the Westies job so took it. Up to then he hadn't had an offer from North
