Id take Premierships and no clubrooms over clubrooms and no success anyday.
Couldnt care less if we had clubrooms but I do like the setup at South and the Bay

Where are the premierships cups kept?

We have plenty of room at Noarlunga if you need to store any ;)

The Cups are given out to the members to keep at home 8)
Surely those spoons take up plenty of room at Noarlunga

I like the Panthers and Port's set up.

I think Port's is the easiest to get into/out of/have a punt at half time.

Norwood - I rate the Premier's Bar under the stand (albeit small & not official club rooms)
Sturt - haven't bothered since that day they'd only sell grog to home members
South - good set up, still looks new
Centrals - big, "pub feel" - impressive
Eagles - will check out renno's this year, used to be good
North - haven't been inside there for 3 seasons - were ordinary then
West - still an old school set up, highly rate
Port - IMHO the pick of them, good TAB set up, staff always seem friendly, good layout.

Glenelg - great set up, however - no TAB (could easily put one where the pool table is), every home match the kegs "blow" - it is not hard to bank them up and stop customers waiting (bar manager to maybe check this at 11am???), don't have rows and rows of cruisers/breezers in the fridge that we sell sweet FA on match days yet only keep a dozen echoes of stout that is always in high demand. Don't hold kids birthday partys which take up a large area of the club rooms on a home match day FFS! Please have the tvs on channels 2,7 & fox - not the midday movie or an SBS doco, it is a footy club after all. Finally, plastic f#cking cups - we are the only club that does this! There are 2 red coats & a security guard on the one door leading out to the ground.
Not hard to have a sign above the door stating "no glass to be taken outside" and have them enforce this. The number of people that drink in the Holdy now instead of the club is increasing. Fixing a few of these little things will help bring some back.

Rant over.

Yeah I like South's clubrooms would have been good if they were on the wing and not in the pocket.

I do like West's old school feel.

Bays aren't bad either the only problem is it is full of Glenelg supporters :D

Heard that the eagles are selling their clubrooms is this correct?

I think they're going to sell their pokie parlour to pay off debts, and then lease it back.

Centrals have a really good setup, definitely a footy feel on match days, possibly because it is well supported by both teams.
Eagles is good over looking the oval although some time since I have been there
West is well worth calling in for a beer win or lose
Magpies or who ever is running it is welcoming, I dont do TAB so that does not concern me
North really needs to have a decent upgrade under the grandstand, will do wonders for them
Is Norwood the Old Cole or the Bath?
Only been to the Bay once so is unfair to comment
never bothered to look at Sturt once they had a Sturt only tent a few years back...shit in their own nest
South is good mainly because it is still new, I dont think it will be capable of holding a crowd if we win 5 or 6 on the trot and upstairs is booked out for community functions.

There’s a rumour that Alan Hickinbotham made a bet with Wally Miller many years ago when Hicky’s were on North Terrace at St. Peter’s.
According to a very unreliable source (mostly Fort Battle-Axe trying to secure a cheap house price), Alan said, “When the Norwood
Football Club has South Adelaide Captains as Coaches and CEO’s we will give up and bow down and submit to a merger with the NFC
without question, fear or favour, forever more !

YOU BEAUTY !

Thanks to Geoff Baynes and Ben Warren, we now have multiple clubrooms for Norwood !!!
And maybe a poolroom for yours truly !

The Premier’s Bar at Norwood remains our ‘soulroom’ for the outrageous number of Premiership Cups we’ve won honorably.
i.e. Without ex-players as umpires/umpire's directors. But now, the huge overspill of our ‘always bigger than Port members & crowds’
are well catered for after every game by The Nor-East Club, The Alma, The Bath, The Old Colonist, The Oriental, The Marryatville,
The Feathers, The Arkaba, The Avoca, The Maid Of Auckland, The Tonsley, The Flagstaff, The Vic, The Crown Inn, The Lonsdale,
The Emu, The Lonsdale, The Capt. Christies and of course, the magnificent South Adelaide Football Clubrooms !

Please remove those pathetic half-pines from around the ground. We Norwood folk have taken a poll and we insist on well watered,
giant ghost and red gum trees, to surround OUR oval. We’ve given up on our local RSL coming to the party on costs around here,
so please let president Steve & Co. at the Christies/Noarlunga RSL know that we are cashed up and ready to expand the local club !

As for the Norwood Panthers Club, we will advise regarding the enormous real estate required to place all of our silverware
between your well earned 1877 & 1964 cups.
;)
Luv,
Sabre.

North's was done up a year or two ago, its one of, if not the best for historical material in it.
Those who I've taken up to the Old Grandstand now glassed off area will agree that will be the best in the league once they've moved up there.
Centrals is the best but the distance from the ground is a pain. Great areas, range of bars, space, etc.
Glenelgs is good, great now they've opened it up.
South's are a great view but for some reason, have felt outdated really quickly.
Wests and Sturts are a trip back to the 70s, Sturts very ordinary with no tap beer.
Norwood if they have some will be the best as they'll serve Coopers!
Eagles is pretty good but feels old too.
Never been in Port's.

Not sure why people are thinking Wests is old school, going to enjoy a few pints there tonight.
