West very lucky last week.

Adelaide very unlucky. Simon Hackforth Smeddington Jones to debut in place of the J Pod.

My tip: The BBQ is overrated. Go the pies and pasties on the way out after 8 cold cans.

Not lucky mate. Played the better footy. Its wednesday and no banter yet or, heaven forbid, some pre game analysis.

Have just heard that the crows may also be giving a game to " the lucky bastard who couldn't run out of sight on a dark night two years ago at country football training but is now to be a league footballer due to three others being unavailable because of a wedding".

WEST
West Adelaide forward Justin Hardy will miss Friday night’s match against Adelaide at City Mazda Stadium with an ankle injury.
The Ken Farmer Medallist originally hurt himself in the Bloods’ trial match against Glenelg but after medicos initially thought the former Bulldog would be OK, he has now succumbed to the lingering ailment.
‘’We initially thought Justin would be OK,’’ West football manager Andrew Marks said.
‘’But he’s had some scans on his ankle which have shown he is not as good as first thought. We’re unsure how long he will be out for.’’
Ruckman Peter Nelson has been recalled to the extended interchange bench while leadership group member Daniel Caire returns after serving a suspension in Round 2. Caire was penalised for one match after an incident in the final minor round game of the season last year.
Promising midfielder Brett Turner has been omitted.
Magarey Medallist James Ezard will play his 150th league match since arriving at Richmond via the SANFL Mini Draft in 2005.

ADELAIDE
Adelaide will be without experienced pair Scott Thompson and James Podsiadly for its contest against West at City Mazda Stadium on Friday night.
Veteran midfielder Thompson has earned an AFL call-up after racking up 29 disposals, 11 tackles and nine clearances against North last Saturday.
Geelong premiership player Podsiadly will spend an indefinite period on the sidelines after aggravating a back injury against the Roosters.
First-year tall Harry Dear has been sidelined by a shoulder injury while Jake Kelly – the son of former Collingwood backman Craig Kelly – has been named in the club’s AFL squad.
AFL-listed pair Brodie Martin and Mitch Grigg will assist Adelaide’s depth in the midfield after being named in the 23-man squad.
Development players Luke Carey, Nicholas Mott, Brock Castree and Justin Bollenhagen, who was previously on Fremantle’s AFL list, have been added to the line-up which must be trimmed by two before the bounce.

F: Wittwer, Ramsey, Osborn
HF: Wilson, Mott, Callinan
C: Martin, Grigg, Molyneaux
HB: Spencely, Sutcliffe, Bollenhagen
B: Pfeiffer, Lever, Wigg

R: O’Brien, Lyons, M. Crouch
INT: Stent, Castree, Schoenmakers, Smart, Carey
IN: Carey, Mott, Castree, Bollenhagen, Martin, Grigg
OUT: Thompson (Crows), Kelly (Crows), Podsiadly (back), Dear (shoulder)

Yep, Bloods on paper win easily. Hope the Westies BBQ is stocked well, as that Ravens line-up will have the masses flooding to Richmond on a cold Friday night for some 'state league' action.
