No wonder your called dogsbreath.

The lights failed during the SFL u/18 game and that was called off at the 10 min mark of the last Quarter. RThe lights did come back on again but went off half an hour or so later.

By 25 past 7 the announcer said the game had been called off because SAFC could not guarantee they would not fail again, the SANFL rescheuled the game for 11.30am on Sunday I did not hear any announcement (if it was made) of entry refunds, although when I left I was told that entry was free, which didnt fuss me too much as I am a season ticket holder of South,.

What I want to know now is the SANFL or SAFC going to reimburse me for tonight being a no match and not being ale to get there tomorrow.

BTW. I was pissed off when the announcement came across.

Now you know why the game was rescheduled.

Rumour has it the crows supporter was disappointed. Asked for a refund then realised they get free entry.

No need to get personal Cowling Panther. My beef was with the SANFL's lack of communication on the reason for the reschedule. Zero explanation on their website at the time. I see there's an explanation posted now.

What is it with you people down the South end of town, don't you pay your electricity bills :)

BTW, think you meant to say 'no wonder you're called Dogbreath'. Us people from Lizbiff like to yous good English.

Thought the same re : refunds. Season ticket holder but do you get a refund for that game ??

What utter chaos tonight !!! :?

Just hope the people that paid to get in the ground get a full refund. Some very unhappy punters !!!

The ground isn't that much darker without the lights off than it is with them on

Why couldn't they just ask ppl to turn their car lights on?

Certainly a PR disaster that will reflect poorly on the SANFL and SAFC.

I can understand why the decision was made, but like most was bemused/annoyed at the time. I think the game should have gone ahead, and if the lights failed South should have been forced to forfeit the game as the home side.

The lack of immediate refund for those paying at the gates is poor. Season ticket holder so it doesn't affect me but still...

The 11:30 start (while it actually suits me) again is evidence that we're bending over to the AFL overlords. If the game was against any other club presumably it would have been played at 2:10.

They did.....as they left the ground, and what a f/up that was, only one gate open, people wanting their monies back etc, I imagine the last cars might be just getting out now.

Should follow http://www.footetimes.com ... tweet went up within a minute of announcement and then live report from Noarlunga was posted on our site within a couple of minutes, updated later in the night.

Given that the new start time is 11.30, I guess every one is going to wait till quarter time for a beer. :-)

Personally I thought the lights were adequate enough for the game to start...very disappointing as I'll be unable to attend tomorrow. There were some very p-----ed off people leaving the ground..
Just waiting for the Crows officials to come out and condemn the standard of lighting at SANFL grounds now....guess what, if you dont like it - F--k off!!

It was an Under 16s game.
