Jarred was very much a required player and his decision to quit had nothing to do with the culture of our club or his value as a player, simply a more lucrative offer. Jarred has now signed with North Adelaide Football Club after negotiating a transfer fee.
After more than 10 years of investing time and development into Jarred both on and off field as a person and a footballer, the WWTFC is disappointed with this decision. We now move forward as a Club and continue to strive for success in 2018 with a fully committed and united playing group.

If thats the case it says something about his character and you are better off without him.
South have been in the same boat more than once over the last few years..........................

Thats what I reckon If you dont want to play for the Club that has looked after your interests for 10 years then piss off

Cap is $350k isn't it? 15% reduction is $52.5k, for footy clubs that turn over $3-$4m each year I'm not sure it impacts their end result much.

That’s about 1.5 decent players you don’t have

Not all teams use brown paper bags to Rory the system

Some one on here may know. Do SANFL clubs that recruit ex PAM players need to pay a transfer fee. If yes it does not go well as the PAP can rookie draft Top players at no cost.

Be grateful you at least got a transfer fee.
Our senior coach was still contracted yet Port poached him & I strongly suggest we’ll get f#ck all compensation.

That’s the strange thing he signed an eagles contract in October and goes to North in November.
Not sure what happened
North must’ve had to pay more $$$ for a contracted player

Cannot believe the move by Allmond! Thought he was an Eagle for life and was one of my fave players due to his toughness, good decision making and long, raking kicks. Money speaks again! Reckon he has burnt many bridges at the Eagles after all the time and effort we put into him.

Sounds like the Eagles getting a good taste of their own medicine!

Wundke, Ainger ring any bells ???

So two players from Souths seconds side were contracted when they left South ?
It’s happened to the eagles before
At least the Eagles haven’t lost 15 percent of their Salary cap like south have .

That’s the strange thing he was announced as signing with the Eagles in October
Then signs with North in October

But end of the day shit happens
No good years later worrying over players that move on for another team .
I’ve seen the posts on here about Sturt and the Eagles both going after Eddy
No idea if it’s just someone looking for a bite
Just think if he goes to Sturt or the Eagles
South fans will complain for years of being raped by which team signs him

Im talking about clubs living within their means, if the cut is designed to control clubs spending Im not sure how that can work for entities that turnover $2m+

Surely South (and Centrals) warrant more respect.
