Time for another 'Integrity Cup' battle. Pleasing to see another local lad debut, while Joel Cross will sadly miss the match after the passing of his father.

South
In: Irra, Kreuger, McKinnon, Hunter, Whittlesea
Out: Haren (omitted), Fairlie (omitted), Cross (personal reasons), Moyle (omitted)
New: Nathan Kreuger (SAFC U18s/Victor Harbor - GSFL)

Haren is seriously underdone so hope he can find some touch over the next 3/4 weeks.

That said and without seeing Centrals team, we are on TV, sooo, South by a point.

Losing Cross will hurt.

Centrals by 1-5 points in a low scoring game

'Dogs by a few goals.

Sympathies to Joel Cross, family and friends for his dad's passing.

Massive game for us. We need to keep our winning record at home going.

Sam Overall has been down compared to last year so hopefully he has a big game as we need more goals from him.

New player Fitt looks the goods he is competitive and knows where the goals are.

I'll tip us to win but others will need step up without Crossy there.

Why?
He kicked 2 goals out of a total of 11 and was 1 of 3 multiple goal scorers. He provides a target and takes the opposition's best defender. Sounds like a keeper to me.

Butch has a go,is team orientated, gets shit delivery, and gets the rough end of the pineapple from the green maggots. He's no world beater and never will be but he's converted me. He's my new version of Brad Currie.

Well deserved. Nick Liddle wins the Butler/Girdham Medal, and Sam Overall wins the Mark Zanotti Mullet Medal. A good day out for the Panthers.

Decent effort after conceding the first 4 goals, most of which were via very soft efforts in defense. Final margin flattered the Dogs, South's goal kicking terrible after half time. Very contested game, not overly attractive at times. South were harder at it for longer, the Dogs only applying themselves in patches.

Liked the games of Liddle, Davis (having a much better year), Biemans, Fields. Young Fitt looks like he'll be a player, smooth mover and smart decision maker. Debutant Krueger kicked a couple of goals, including a beauty from outside 50 to seal the win.

Below average crowd and atmosphere was lacking. Very small turn out of South supporters which is a concern. Perfect weather for it too..
