The quality of commentary is subjective. I don't mind it. For me, Its been one of the big plusses (not many) that have come from the SANFL. You can always turn the volume down or not renew next year if it bothers you or just go to the match.

I go to matches . I like watching SANFL games but who likes watching a game via TV / Stream without commentary ?

Its passive revenue for the SANFL and an easy comment to say don't watch it . How about better quality so I don't cancel it.[/quote
if you dont like it just cancel. Up to you.

No the Ashes hasn't started yet. BBL 08, game 193 perhaps.

For non-members you can use the promo code COMMUNITYFOOTBALL to get the price down to $30

I see they have added adverts this season

Sam Tugwell on the mike for the South game and Chis Kendall is doing some commentary also for the DP, hopefully they have listened to feedback and worked to improve the offering.

Don’t mind the adds if it puts more money into SANFL footy

The sounds of silence must be contributing thousands.

Good improvement is the qtr highlights

Haven’t heard Peter Walsh so that could be the biggest improvement of all, although I’m getting nervous for the Bays Westies game....

Adverts are really annoying, almost don't want a goal kicked :)

Commentator having a shocker early as well, getting scores wrong, margins wrong. Will get better though I suppose.

Do love having this now though given I live 2 hours away from Elizabeth Oval in Lochie Wilsdon country.

Despite a couple of Smithfield Crash Clangers Jon Nankivell was good as usual and his off sider Wayne Weidemann was suprisingly good too.

Agree apart from a couple of clangers it was a very good call, play by play was spot on, player knowledge was great, enthusiasm was high without being a Bryan Taylor.

I like the live pass and it much better than what the AFL have put in place for the NAB league.
I believe clubs keep the payments for live pass so anyone know how much it costs the SANFL to put this on each season.
Well done SANFL though

Yep, despite our gripes the comp is definately a lot better for the digital pass, now an invaluable part of our comp.

Yep for $30 I can get access to 21 games per week.
It’s become an invaluable tool for recruiters and draft followers too with the excellent coverage of the under age comps. Compare that to the dross the AFL serve up for the NAB cup and zero coverage of the VFL and you realise how lucky we are.
