I assume Port but Centrals are plucky at times and may rattle Port .

Anything could happen, I'll go the Power reserves by 8 goals.

Did not watch Centrals last week. Warren Partlands review in the paper regarding their first half performance was not flattering.

Port by 5 goals.

I love the Schiller lads and with Pres we get plenty of the ball. Our ruck is doing well, however we need some leg speed in the middle to stop the opposition run and switch to attack. For me the signs against the Crows in the last half were good and our fitness is fine, but we must be much more adaptive and ready to change tactics when the opposition is hammering us. The lads can run out the game, they are fit and we have good depth. I think it will be closer than 10, but cant see us getting over the line. A big test and if we do keep within a couple of goals, it will be a good sign for the remainder of the season.

Weaver being dropped is harsh imho

Wins plenty of the ball, but burns it, in dangerous areas, and has no penetration in his kick, in my opinion.

Agreed, I thought Connor McLean may have made his return this week, after having kicked three in the Ressies last week. He should at least be back next week I would imagine.
Cheers

Our turnovers between the middle and half forward would be above the comp average.

Port Reserves 18.11(119)
Dogs 13.7 (85)

Dogs had a crack Port were just to good in the end.

Port made less mistakes and were better structured/skilled at vital times consistently thru out the match.

Brampton smashed us in Ruck. Dogs are really missing Fort.

Jydon Neagle and Menzel have been quality recruits so far.

Jydon is attracting some interest for the mid season draft. Hopefully he stays put

We played pretty well, but couldn't keep up the work rate for the last quarter. We badly missed Trav Schiller, late withdrawal from the side. Got smashed in the clearances. Jarrad Schiller and Jenner very good for us. Boyd Woodcock has some serious pace over 20m, burnt off Habel a couple of times when Habel was guarding him very closely. Our style of play was much more entertaining than last year. I didn't think we deserved to lose by as much as we did.

Jack Trengrove again with most touches for Port Adelaide, FMD what else does he have to do to get a gig for the Power? How come genuine list cloggers like Karl Amon continue to get an opportunity in front of Trengrove?

Hey Booney, can you give Ken a call and ask him about this??

Better than last week but no chance against full time professional AFL players.
