Both sides with a chance to win this. Sturt most likely would drop out of the finals race if we lose. South, obviously capable of beating the best but have a reputation for patchiness during games.
I reckon it will go down to the wire, too hard to predict, Panthers must be favourites.

Good to see Sturt ensuring the top end of town are looked after by selecting someone with a hyphenated surname in each of their three grades.

Also, really hope young Zevenboom in their under-18s goes places, that name's an absolute commentator's dream.

Hmmm hard one to pick. South at home and with a potentially unchanged line up but we always struggle against Sturt. Who am I kidding? It’s not hard to pick at all, the obvious premiership favourites Sturt will win by 92 points!

South go into this game after a less than convincing win against West and an Umpire enduced miracle against flag favorites Glenelg who played 9 debutantes, 8 with less than 10 games and 4 raffle winners. The coach was sick and there were no trainers so the 3 on the bench ran it. Nathan Buckley would not get a game in that side but we will discuss that later.

Haines in career best form and Karpeny starting to show why we let him play for us.

Sturt had a tough encounter last week which saw them lose to Adelaide by 3 goals. Might be wet again and being Noarlunga there will be little breeze. More like a gale.

Cross and Slimming to both be reported.

That said, South by a point and move to fifth favorites for the flag

Interesting discussion about players’ surnames.... just to add to it, South have a “Mc” in each grade but strangely enough the player with the bright red hair isn’t one of them.

Sturt too good, South very sloppy with the skills today. Hopefully rebound for next week with another blockbuster matchup.

Nowhere near gone. Once the number of premiership players come back in and get some match fitness, they’re more than in the mix. Just beaten by Adelaide, in the game for large parts against Port, small losses to Norwood and Glenelg and a win against the Eagles and two wins against South. Nowhere near gone.
