Via members email yesterday...
Due to the unique intracacies of our management plan for ACH Stadium, we are unfortunately not in a position to carry out our COVID Management Plan in time for tomorrow’s game vs the Eagles.
Interim CEO Justin Scripps said yesterday “Given the tight time frame between now & game day, we just won’t have enough time to implement all of our COVID management protocols”.

Its probably morean issue with Glenelg Oval, with its temporary fencing and makeshift change rooms it looks like a war zone and it was never the biggest to start with.

I would be in favour of the season being cancelled. Hope if the AFL falls over they tell all the other leagues to close down as well.

I agree . Plans should have been put in place and ready to go you would think. Every other home team got it sorted .

Don't think covid plans came in to it today. Had to be over 1,000 at Glenelg today. What's the betting the official crowd will be 1,000 !!!!!!!!!!!!

Umm , do you think a crowd of over 1000 would published officially ?

On another point , is it going to be a nightmare financially for the SANFL ( ON TOP OF) with South & Eagles being the two top teams at this stage ? Both good teams but not much support.

Unless I've read it wrong, isn't that what Ferret's saying?

56 years since South won the flag and 56 years since we had a winless season
both a real chance of happening this year .

JK I think he is saying that but I highly doubt it. Huge fines if breached and as of Tuesday even bigger penalties.

Short season aside, can't recall a side ever going winless in my 40 years of following SANFL .. History says you'll be fine, plus I think the longer the season goes, the more you're likely to produce 4 qtr efforts

Fair call, had forgotten that, but to be fair they were surviving on the sniff of an oily rag back then. As an aside, fair turnaround by them within 3 years.

What teams are worse than Centrals 2020? Who do you think we will beat?

I wish I was as sure of winning lotto as I am of Central being winless at the end of the season.

Can't see us beating the current top side or last year's Premiers. That's all of the teams after one round and we won't have won.
I can't see a side in the League that we will beat.

JK you are right. Been going to SANFL matches for over 60 years and there were definitely over 1,000. It was a point of comment by most people around me.
